We are currently in unprecedented times, with the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations that the government and possibility of further measures being put in place, Britannia IT Services are taking the following measures:

As of Today (Thursday 19th March 2020) we will not be attending any site visits for any of our clients, this is to protect our staff and colleagues and reduce the risk of spreading or contracting the coronavirus to and from the public and clients in line with the governments social distancing recommendation, whilst I understand many of our clients are still transitioning to an remote operating platform, we are taking steps today to move our entire team to a remote operation. – This means our normal telephone and remote support operations are still there to support your business during this time.

We have many clients who are currently requesting additional laptops, computers, printers, VOIP Phones and Headsets in order to help them transition to remote working, we have managed to secure a small number of new and refurbished laptop stock, however these are in limited numbers. If you have a requirement for one, please email sales@britanniait.co.uk with your requirement and our sales team will be on hand to assist you, however we do expect these to go quickly.

I encourage any client who requires assistance either for IT support or for remote working setup to only email support@britanniait.co.uk where one of our team will assist you as quickly as possible, however given the circumstances of the coronavirus and recommendations set in place we are currently experiencing much higher than usual email and telephone requests, as we help clients to transition as quickly as possible.

Should we need to relay any information to you, our clients we will continue to use email as well as updating our social media accounts (Links can be found below) and providing updates on www.britanniait.co.uk/coronavirus as well as our Blog.

I would like to thank the entire Britannia Team for the hard work and determination you have shown at the time, and to our clients for your support, and I hope that you, your colleagues and your families stay safe and well.

Regards,
Alexander Ashe
Technical Director
