In December 2022, Britannia IT was approached by the directors of a business consultancy firm relocating their call centre from Southport Town Centre to Preston City centre. However, upon gaining keys to their new city centre premises they quickly realised that their connectivity options were extremely limited despite being promised by their current ISP that super-fast connectivity was already in the building.

Given the nature of the call centres, and the fact they utilise a cloud-based CRM system and a VOIP phone system it was imperative that they got a stable and high-speed internet connection as soon as possible.

Britannia IT worked with its panel of suppliers to find the best connectivity options with the fastest lead times available, then provided the customer with options. The customer agreed to a 100Mb leased line over a gigabit bearer to give them room for expansion as they grow their operation.

From the 8th of December 2022 when the customer got in touch with Britannia to the 12th of January 2023 when the line was tested and handed over, The Britannia IT team managed the whole process flawlessly to ensure it was delivered on time and the customer’s expectations were kept at all times.

It goes without saying, a lack of connectivity when you’re operating a call centre operation causes many operational headaches, we had already spoken to several mainstream internet providers just couldn’t provide any assistance or timelimes to get us online. From the momment we engaged Britannia IT they reassured us that there was a light at the end of the tunnel and we did have options.

They managed the entire process from start to finish, and now that our new fibre leased line is active and we’re no longer running off a 4G service everything is lightning fast, with no waiting times on pages or lag/delays on our telephone calls.
