Britannia IT Delivers Full Network Rollout at the Brand New Make Hamilton

We’re excited to announce that Britannia IT has completed a full digital infrastructure rollout at Make Hamilton, the newest site from the team behind Make CIC. This fantastic new space is set to become a hub for creative professionals, community events, and small businesses in the heart of the Wirral, and it’s now fully connected, secured, and future-ready.

As with every Make site, connectivity is key, and we’ve ensured that Make Hamilton doesn’t fall short.

We’ve installed full symmetrical Gigabit connectivity into the building, delivered via the ultra-fast LCR Connect fibre network. Whether tenants are hosting meetings, live streaming content, or running cloud-based tools, they’ll benefit from consistent, business-grade speeds in both directions.

To support the flow of data throughout the building, we’ve built a 10 Gigabit internal network backbone – creating the kind of headroom needed to accommodate growing digital demand without performance bottlenecks.

Strong WiFi Everywhere You Go

A strong connection should never depend on where you're standing. That’s why we’ve deployed 15 WiFi 6 access points throughout the building, all strategically placed to provide excellent coverage in every corner – from shared spaces and studios to meeting rooms and breakout areas. No blackspots. No dropouts. Just seamless connectivity.

All wireless and network infrastructure is powered by Ubiquiti, a brand we trust for performance, scalability, and ease of management – giving Make Hamilton a rock-solid foundation that’s built to last.

Securing the Space with Smarter Surveillance

Connectivity was only half the project – the other half was about keeping the site and its community secure.

We designed and installed a comprehensive CCTV solution, also powered by Ubiquiti, combining a mix of 2K and 4K cameras across both internal and external areas. From high-traffic communal spaces to building entrances and exits, every key zone is now monitored with crisp, high-resolution footage.

With remote access, motion alerts, and long-term storage capabilities, Make’s team can feel confident in their ability to keep tenants and visitors safe – and investigate anything quickly, should the need arise.
