In an era of fibre broadband and lightning-fast cloud computing, we decided it was time to take a step back. A big step. Back to basics. Back to nature. Back to wings.
Say hello to Clippy Featherstone, our Chief Pigeon Officer (CPO) and the newest member of the Britannia IT team. Hatched in our server room during a particularly dramatic thunderstorm, Clippy immediately demonstrated a keen eye for connectivity issues and a remarkable homing instinct. It wasn’t long before he rose through the (bird) ranks.
Now, fitted with his signature hi-vis vest and miniature postbag, Clippy is ready to bring world-class support to clients the old-fashioned way—one handwritten ticket at a time.
How It Works:
- Write your IT issue clearly on paper.
- Gently attach it to Clippy’s postbag.
- Release Clippy into the sky.
- Wait 3–5 working days (weather and snack breaks permitting) for a response.
Our pigeon-based support service is ideal for businesses in rural areas, those suffering frequent power cuts, or anyone nostalgic for slower, simpler times. Plus, it’s completely bandwidth-free, eco-friendly, and fully biodegradable*.
(*Clippy is not, though. He’s very much alive and unionised.)
